It was revealed earlier this year that Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls were uniting for a brand new competition series on Netflix and now the streaming platform has revealed a huge update.

Taking to the official Netflix UK and Ireland Instagram account, they shared a first-look poster of Celebrity Bear Hunt as well as a highly-anticipated release date.

In the poster, Holly and Bear can be seen standing on either side, in the midst of a jungle, where trees and birds can be seen. Holly is all decked up in a khaki green t-shirt and some camoflauge shorts as she stands with her hands on her hips and looks out into the distance.

Meanwhile, Bear looks the business with a rope and all of his equipment tied to his chest, as he folds his arms and looks straight into the camera.

Netflix revealed that Celebrity Bear Hunt will be debuting on the streaming platform on February 5, meaning fans have less than two months to wait. They penned: "Can 12 celebrities survive being hunted in the Costa Rican jungle by Bear Grylls? Hosted by Holly Willoughby, Celebrity Bear Hunt arrives 5 February 2025, only on Netflix."

Although the names of the celebrities taking part are yet to be confirmed by Netflix, a rumoured line-up has been doing the rounds.

According to The Sun, those rumoured to be doing the series are Spice Girl Mel B, Strictly Come Dancing's Shirley Ballas, Rugby ace Danny Cipriani, Tennis legend Boris Becker, designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and The Saturdays singer Una Healy.

Also reportedly taking on the biggest challenge of their lives are The Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas, presenter Steph McGovern, model Lottie Moss, chef Big Zuu and Plus actor Kola Bokinni.

The premise of the show will see the 12 famous faces dropped into the Costa Rican jungle as prey for one of the world's most fearsome predators - Bear Grylls.

As he puts them through their paces, those who fail to impress him will face the dreaded 'Bear Hunt', which will see them be hunted down by Bear and if caught, will be eliminated.

This will mark Holly's foray into streaming as she makes her debut on Netflix after working in television since the early 2000s.

Netflix confirmed the series was in the works in March as they wrote on Instagram: "Introducing Bear Hunt – this new action-packed competition show sees a group of unlikely British celebrities dropped into the Central American jungle as prey for one of the world’s most fearsome predators… @beargrylls! Hosted by @hollywilloughby – coming to Netflix in 2025."
