Ruth Langsford admits Strictly Come Dancing experience 'left her in tears'
Ruth Langsford has confessed to Rylan Clark that she "used to cry all the time" during her 2017 Strictly Come Dancing stint.
The revelation came during a segment of Air Rylan on the media personality's YouTube channel, where they discussed Ruth's experience on the BBC dance show when she was paired with Anton Du Beke.
The duo exited the competition just before the Blackpool performance, with Ruth previously describing the experience as "terrifying" in 2022.
In the recent video, Rylan asked if she had a "laugh" on the show with "Tony B", to which she responded that he found her dancing amusing.
Ruth admitted: "No, but you know, I used to cry all the time because I was so nervous" Rylan then asked if it was the "summing up", to which she jokingly replied: "They slip with that needle; it makes your eyes water, (I'm) telling you."

The trio reportedly indulged in an evening of fine dining, champagne, and espresso martinis, with Rylan documenting their discussions on "putting the world to rights".
It was earlier reported that Ruth has been leaning on friends like Rylan following her separation from husband Eamonn Holmes after 14 years of marriage.
A source claimed to Closer magazine: "Ruth is trying to cope with all this. Obviously it hurts and it’s very shocking, but she’s relying on friends like Rylan to distract her and make sure she’s having lots of fun – and that’s why Rylan is so good for her."
