I'm a Celeb: Dec is disbelief as Richard completes trial

On Friday night, viewers were treated to a stomach-churning spectacle on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! as Richard Coles and Coleen Rooney faced off in the Dreaded Dregs Bushtucker Trial. The challenge involved some truly twisted drinking games.

The dynamic duo, guided by presenters Ant and Dec, found out that they would not only take on the vile concoctions but also compete directly against one another - with an unpleasant forfeit hanging over the head of the loser. They were vying for six vital stars, representing meals for their campmates, plus an extra bonus star promising a personalized drink delivered to each contender in camp.

Richard declared: "I'm trying to think of the biggest free drink I could possibly have. I'd have 14 pints of cider," to which Coleen coolly retorted: "I'll have a bottle of rose please!"

The first test of nerves was 'spin the bottle', determining who would gulp down the first ghastly beverage to secure a star for camp. The fate of the spin cast Coleen to face 'Boar's light', a blend of pureed pig's testicles that bore an uncanny resemblance to a creamy coffee.

Coleen didn't bat an eye, diving straight into the challenge under Ant's admiring observation that "She just gets on with it doesn't she! " With support from Richard and a determined attitude, Coleen triumphed, clinching the first star for the camp.

The second round was 'flip cup', where the contestants had six cups filled with blended cockroaches in front of them. They had to drink each one in sequence, then flip the cup they'd just emptied before moving on to the next. The person who took the longest would receive a penalty.

Coleen made a swift start, rapidly consuming and flipping the first three cups, while Richard struggled initially with the flipping technique. However, he soon caught up, and it became a close race as they both reached their final cup.

Richard managed to flip his last cup before Coleen, winning the round and leaving Coleen with the penalty. Since they both successfully finished all six cups, they earned an additional 2 stars for the camp.

The penalty meant that Coleen had to face the third round alone, which consisted of six shots. She needed to down all six to win the star.

Without hesitation, she successfully consumed the first three shots, named 'slippery nipple', before moving on to the final three 'flaming sampoocas'.

The fourth round was beer pong, where they had to throw a ball into the other person's cup, forcing them to drink its contents. Taking turns to throw, Coleen was the first to score, meaning Richard had to drink a blended sheep's penis.

She scored twice in succession, forcing Richard to drink a second time. After finishing both drinks, he won another two stars for the camp.

The piece de resistance was the final bonus round, which featured a gruesome fishbowl cocktail comprising a stomach-churning blend of giant mealworms, fermented herring, crocodile anus, and the infamously pungent vomit fruit. Ant warned: "It's the worst of the worst."

The concoction's stench was so overpowering that Coleen started to gag, unable to bring herself to take a sip.

Richard, however, proved his mettle by downing the drink solo, prompting Dec to exclaim: "I've never seen anything like that!" as Ant chimed in: "Oh my god. The man's a machine!" The camp's efforts paid off, as they secured all six stars and earned a drink of choice for each campmate.
