Channel 4's A Place In The Sun announces major change to the show

A Place in the Sun host finds out what buyers are looking for

Channel 4's popular daytime show, A Place in the Sun, is set for a significant revamp as it moves to a new evening time slot.

The show, which helps Brits find their dream holiday homes in sunnier climates, typically airs on weekdays at 4pm. However, the new series, premiering on January 2, will take the 6pm evening slot.

Presenter Jasmine Harman, who relocated to Spain with her family last year, is thrilled about the change. She said: "We are so excited to bring A Place in the Sun to a new teatime slot.

"This move reflects the show's popularity and our dedication to providing viewers with inspirational stories and exciting journeys."

"Our move to Spain has transformed my life, so I hope we'll be able to do the same for even more house hunters dreaming of living in the sun. Get ready for all new episodes starting on Thursday 2nd January at 6 pm on Channel 4," reports the Mirror.

The new series promises to deliver even more expert advice from the presenters, who will share their personal experiences of buying abroad, navigating local customs, and making the most of a new home.

Viewers can also expect to see some of the most unusual properties on the market, from quirky cave houses in Granada to converted pubs in France. A Place in the Sun will leave no stone unturned in its quest to make house hunters' dreams a reality.

The summary for the upcoming series reveals: "In the first episode of the new run, newlyweds Bev and Errol want to celebrate their marriage by finding a holiday home in the Spanish region of the Mar Menor, home to one of the largest saltwater lagoons in Europe."
