Loanee Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has publicly supported Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford following Sunday's resounding 4-0 win against Everton. United thrashed the Toffees at Old Trafford through Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee's braces.

The emphatic victory catapulted Ruben Amorim’s side back into the fray for a top-four spot in the Premier League, now trailing by just four points.

United are also just four points behind Manchester City and have a superior goal difference than Pep Guardiola's men after their 2-0 defeat at Liverpool.

As is routine after such triumphs, United players took to Instagram to commemorate the win.

Rashford celebrated by posting "top team performance," while captain Fernandes wrote: "A nice Sunday at home."

Sancho started for Chelsea in a 3-0 win against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, lifting Enzo Maresca's side level on 25 points with second-place Arsenal.

Despite currently playing for the Blues, Sancho expressed his approval of United's win by liking both Rashford and Fernandes' posts—a clear gesture of support despite distance and club rivalries.

Sancho's escape to Chelsea - which will almost certainly become permanent for £25m next summer - followed a strained period with then United manager Erik ten Hag.

The pair reportedly made peace in pre-season after last term's public spat that led to Sancho's four-month exile at Carrington, but it was widely expected that his future lay away from Old Trafford.

Though initially making a splash at Stamford Bridge, Sancho faced a dip in form, which he recovered from with a commendable outing in the Conference League against Heidenheim, providing two assists in the 2-0 win.

That earned him a place in the starting lineup against Villa. His 71-minute contribution on the pitch helped secure a 3-0 victory, while his parent club also reaped three points in their own fixture.

Sancho will sign a permanent deal at Chelsea at the end of the season in the extremely likely case of a top-14 finish in the Premier League.
