Virgin River, the Netflix romantic drama known for its emotional twists and turns, leaves fans wondering if Brie will reconsider her feelings for her ex-boyfriend Brady.

It's been a year since the show's festive Christmas special aired, and now the countdown to series six is nearly over, with the release date set for Thursday, December 19.

In series five, Brie Sheridan, portrayed by Zibby Allen, ended her relationship with Dan Brady, played by Ben Hollingsworth, after discovering his involvement in the local drug trade.

However, it wasn't long before sparks began to fly between her and police officer Mike Valenzuela, played by Marco Grazzini.

The recently released trailer reveals that Brie and Mike's relationship remains strong, showing intimate moments between the pair. Yet, there's a scene where Brie lies awake next to a sleeping Mike, looking visibly distressed.

Earlier in the teaser, Brady speaks about "making it a habit of not keeping secrets", hinting at his attempts to change post-breakup.

As the new series approaches, Netflix viewers are speculating that Brie might leave Mike and get back together with Brady in season six.

One Reddit user theorised: "I think it's going to be a showdown between Mike and Brady, with Brie having second thoughts."

On YouTube, the excitement is palpable as one viewer exclaimed: "This is going to be amazing! I need Brie and Brady to get back together!"

Echoing the sentiment, another fan shared: "I want Brady and Brie back together this season! They are soulmates and they should be endgame."

However, opinions are divided over who Brie should ultimately choose, with some viewers advocating for Mike as the superior match.
