BBC Antiques Road Trip star's horror over item that would make her 'run a mile'
Antiques Road Trip expert Catherine Southon made a frank admission during the latest episode as she showed off a creepy teddy bear on the BBC show.
Catherine and her co-star Ishy Khan were back for another episode on Thursday (November 28) as they toured Wiltshire and Somerset.
Searching for unique antiques to later sell at auction, the pair were on the prowl. But when Catherine stumbled across an unusual teddy bear, she failed to hide her disdain, as she predicted it would never sell due to its unsettling appearance.
Holding the item in her hands, she said: "If I was a two-three-year-old toddler and I was faced with this, I would run a mile."
Laughing at the antique teddy, she added: Seriously! I mean, no one would buy him. Aww you poor bear."

With Ishy beating Catherine three times this week, he was confident that he would secure another win. But unfortunately for him, it wasn't to be.
In a turn of events, Catherine won Thursday's episode, despite incurring a loss. But due to Ishy's loss being a lot bigger, Catherine finally had a win.
Meanwhile on Wednesday's show, Catherine was left gobsmacked when her item failed to sell big at auction. Her find, which was a set of silver-plated lobster picks presented in a blue-lined case which she acquired for £35, appeared amongst the lots hoping to make a tidy sum.

Yet, the anticipation soon fell flat as the auction room's enthusiasm was lukewarm as bids started at a disappointing £10 and slowly inched up to only £15, leaving Catherine stunned.
A flabbergasted Catherine said: "I'm speechless! £15 for a set of lobster pickers?!"
Ishy didn't manage much of an improvement with his next offering either. During the show, he had brought forth a quirky collection of silver duck rings priced at £40.
However the bids quickly stopped at £15. This led the auctioneer to voice his astonishment, remarking: "I thought they'd do a little bit more than that."
