Good Morning Britain paid homage to 17-year-old Liz Hatton during Thursday's show, announcing the tragic news of her death. The young photographer was captured in a heartwarming photo with the Princess of Wales at Windsor Castle in October.
A voiceover on the show stated: "Liz Hatton was that rarest breed of bravery and optimism. She was diagnosed with incurable cancer in January at age 17. Given as little as six months to live, the talented photographer took on a bucket list of assignments she spoke to GMB about."
ITV viewers were shown an old video of Liz from the start of the year, where she expressed: "If one thing comes through out of it, then it would've been worth it then, and a lot more than one thing has come through."
Highlighting some of Liz's accomplishments, fans discovered that the teen had managed to photograph a film premiere, a high-end fashion shoot and an investiture event, reports the Mirror.

However, during this time, the 17-year-old had the unexpected pleasure of meeting the Prince and Princess of Wales. During this event, Liz was photographed sharing a warm embrace with Kate Middleton, who later referred to Liz as an inspiration.
Following their encounter with Liz, Kate and William shared a heartfelt message on social media, writing: "A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength has inspired us both. Thank you for sharing your photos and story with us. WandC."
Vicky Roboyna, Liz's mother, took to Twitter on Wednesday night to share the heartbreaking news of her daughter's death. In a moving tribute, she wrote:"Our incredible daughter Liz died in the early hours of this morning. She remained determined to the last.
"Even yesterday, she was still making plans. We are so very proud of the kindness, empathy and courage she has shown in the last year."
