Lanvin Will Return to Paris in 2025 for a Debut Co-Ed Collection by Peter Copping

Following a brief hiatus from the runway calendar, French fashion house Lanvin is set to make a long-awaited return this coming Paris Menswear Week to show Peter Copping's debut collection for the legendary brand.

In June, Peter Copping, previously at Oscar De La Renta, was appointed as the new artistic director of Lanvin, following the brand's lengthy search for a new creative leader. While Lanvin is the oldest continuously operating couture house in the world, the company, now owned by a Chinese parent, has struggled to establish itself in the contemporary market. With previous experience at a range of labels like Balenciaga and Nina Ricci, one can hope that Copping can successfully pull the back brand into the present.

According to Business of Fashion, Lanvin shared that the show would be an “intimate runway presentation” showing both women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections for FW25. BoF also points out that the January presentation could be a strategic move from the brand, as this coming menswear week is an ideal space for Lanvin to showcase its new vision without competing noise from other labels like Valentino, which has scaled back its schedule under Alessandro Michele.
