I'm A Celebrity fans are certain that Dean McCullough's streak of tackling every Bushtucker Trial is about to cease. The Radio 1 DJ has had a tough time with the nerve-racking challenges in the jungle so far.

Yet, his dramatic reactions during these ordeals have ironically spurred voters on, leading him to be selected for six consecutive Bushtucker Trials. In Monday's episode, Dean was once more charged with completing the challenge alongside Jack and the Scream Stalk.

Confronted with scaling a daunting castle rock climbing frame, Dean had to plunge his hands into 12 sections, each filled with creepy crawlies, in pursuit of stars. Impressively, Dean seemed to conquer his phobias, delivering his strongest performance yet and securing a full haul of 12 stars for the camp.

Fans vocalising their thoughts on social media channel X are now expressing hope that Dean's unbroken series of trials might soon close.

One voiced: "Really hope Dean isn't doing next trial."

Another remarked: "I will give Dean credit. He did well on that trial. But please DON'T vote him again."

A third further noted: "Right SERIOUSLY... anyone who saw that preview of The Fright Bus needs to vote for someone that isn't Dean for the trial." A fourth commented: "Please don't vote Dean for the trial on @imacelebrity give others a chance."

Anticipation is building that Dean might pass the Bushtucker Trial torch to none other than Maura Higgins. The Love Island sensation arrived in the camp as a fresh face last week and has not yet been chosen for a trial.

Viewers were left surprised by Maura's fearful reaction to the upcoming Fright Bus challenge, set to air in tonight's episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

The challenge allows stars to win a piece of luggage each from the rack, said to contain holiday essentials and even a tasty treat.

Maura appeared apprehensive about the task and sought comforting words from fellow contestant Alan. She chose to sit at the back of the bus, believing it to be the safest spot.

Fans speculated that Maura's scared reaction could lead to her being chosen by the public to undertake the trials, potentially taking over from Dean who has so far been the main target.

Twitter user @Twellywatcher predicted: "Maura will scream which will probably get her to become the new Dean". Chlo posted: "Maura is going to be the next Dean and getting voted for all the trials after that".

Daisy commented: "I reckon Maura is not going to do well with these bugs, she may well be the new Dean" Sara added: "Who is going to scream the loudest, Maura or Dean". I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV and ITV X.
