BBC Antiques Road Trip star says 'it's been a blast' as they share surprising news
Antiques Road Trip aired the final episode of Roo Irvine and Mark Hill finding the best bargains together this evening (November 22). The BBC hosts spent their final shopping trip whizzing around Roo's home town in Scotland.
They had the aim of finding antiques that they thought would be the most valuable, at the lowest possible prices. As always, they hoped to end the show with the biggest profit, with hopes of being crowned the winner.
As the antiques experts gave each other a quick sneak peek at what they had bought ahead of auction, with Roo buying a Chinese snuff bottle and Mark purchashing a highly detailed vase, they reflected on their time working together.
Noting that it was their last time going head to head at auction, Roo affectionately said: "It has been a blast." Mark finished her sentence as he added: "It has been fabulous."
The presenters then took "one last ride" in Betsy the classic car as Mark said to Roo: "So, final auction." She replied: "No more chances now, no more chances."

By the end of the episode, Roo was down by £50.76. Mark, on the other hand, ended the series on a high with a profit of £1.16 making him the winner of the day.
However, after filming five episodes together, Roo was branded the overall winner after bagging the biggest profit for all of the other four. Any profits from the week went to Children in Need.
Reminiscing on their time together, Roo said: "Oh we are done!" Mark high fived her as he said: "You're the winner of the Road Trip."
Roo responded: "Thank you, but listen. What a mighty contender you have been." Her co-star said: "Well I'm inspired by your dazzling success."
