Zoe Ball's co-stars address 'ever changing' BBC shake-up after 'forgetting' crucial detail
Zoe Ball's co-stars Vernon Kay and Richie Anderson had to think twice about a crucial detail about her show on Thursday, despite being a part of it every day.
The pair hilariously grew confused just two days after she announced her departure from her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast programme, after six years of hosting duties.
The 53-year-old will sign off from her final three-hour show on December 20 to "start a new chapter" and "focus on family".
As part of a statement, she told fans that she will remain a part of the Radio 2 team and will give further details next year.

Back on the airwaves today, Vernon and Richie were hesitant about what time Zoe's show began, following an advert about the guests on her show tomorrow.
As part of her Friends Round Friday segment, the presenter will welcome Kerry Godliman, Luke Evans and Jude Law into the studio.
Reacting to the advert, which mentioned the time of her show, Vernon said: "Cracking show tomorrow for friends round Friday," to which Richie replied: "That's a good line-up isn't it?"

"Yes make sure you tune into Zoe Ball at... 6.30?"
Richie replied hesitantly: "Yes, 6.30, yes. I don't know why I thought about that, I do it every day."
Insisting he had also made the same mistake several times, Vernon continued: "I've done that in the past I'm like, 'Is it 6.30?'
"Because there's a lot of breakfast shows on the BBC that start at all kind of hours."

Scott, who has previously stepped in for Zoe during a recent lengthy absence, said of his new role: "Zoe and I have been such good friends now for over 25 years and have spent much of that time as part of the same radio family here at Radio 2 and also on Radio 1.
“She’s done an incredible job on this show over the past six years, and I am beyond excited to be handed the baton.”
The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show continues tomorrow at 6.30am on BBC Radio 2.
