Call Of Duty: Warzone Best Perks To Use For BO6 Season 1
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has integrated with Warzone for Season 1, adding the full BO6 weapon pool and attachments to battle royale, as well as slightly modified perks from the previous years. Some perks work differently, while others have been combined into one. Here, we'll recommend the best perks to use for Warzone in Season 1 of Black Ops 6.
Note that Black Ops 6's integration removes the dedicated perks from last year, which gave every player automatic perks such as Quick-Grip Gloves for faster weapon swap speeds and Overkill to equip two primary weapons for a single loadout. It also changes how some of the perks work, and popular choices from last year may not be as beneficial this year.
All perk 1 optionsReflexes - Triggered explosives have a delay when sprinting past them. Reset fuse timers when picking up live grenades.Veteran - Reduce the negative effects of some enemy equipment. While aiming down sights, reduce flinching and extend Hold Breath duration.Grenadier - Explosive damage slows enemy health regeneration and movement speed. Throw equipment farther and see a preview of the trajectory. Enemies must remove the shrapnel to regenerate health.Dexterity - Reduced weapon motion while jumping, sliding, and diving. Take less fall damage.Scavenger - Start equipped with maximum reserve ammo for your primary weapon. Resupply ammo equipment, and plates from dead enemies.Survivor - Start regenerating health more quickly. Your allies revive you faster when you’re downed.
Dexterity seems like it would be a smart pick because it's a combination of BO6's Dexterity perk for less weapon motion while performing omnimovement, but it also offers a reduction in fall damage similar to the popular Mountaineer perk from last year. However, you can't survive the same heights as before, so be cautious about using this perk and attempting to jump off rooftops and high ladders. It doesn't give a percentage, but this is a significant reduction to Mountaineer's benefit.
Best perk 1 options
Scavenger
This is a solid choice for a first perk, as you can easily get topped off with ammo and armor plates by scavenging enemy players. I also think it's always good to have at least one class with this perk in case you need a quick regain after dying.
Grenadier
This is surprisingly a very powerful perk, as hitting enemies with explosive damage can slow enemy health regeneration, delaying it 10 seconds instead of the normal five second delay. Toss grenades into a room of campers, and if you get a hit indicator, you can push them knowing their health hasn't fully recovered.
All perk 2 optionsQuartermaster - Recharge equipment over time (50 seconds).Bomb Squad - Reduces incoming explosive and fire damage. Spot enemy equipment and Killstreaks through walls. Can hack enemy equipment. ADS to highlight equipment for your squad.Tracker - See enemy footsteps. Bullets you fire briefly mark an enemy for you and your squad. Enemies that down you are automatically pinged.Sprinter - Can Tactical Sprint indefinitely.Cold-Blooded - Undetectable by AI targeting and thermal optics. Prevents some enemy recon perks and effects. Will not trigger Alertness perk.Quick Fix - Killing enemies or inserting armor plates immediately starts health regeneration. Can insert armor plates one-handed.
Speed is a big part of omnimovement and aggressive Warzone play, but Sprinter is a wasted option here. This year, everyone gets a dedicated melee slot for a knife. You get this same tactical sprint buff just by pulling out your knife, so you're essentially throwing away a better perk option by using this. Just pull out your knife and start sprinting.
Best perk 2 options
Tracker
Tracker is a great perk for gaining intel on your enemies. Not only do you see their footsteps, but it also gives you a benefit to Combat Scout from previous years of Warzone, which allows you to briefly mark enemies for you tagged up with bullets, and your teammates will see the mark too.
Quartermaster
Quartermaster is great to pair with Grenadier from the perk 1 slot. This recharges your equipment over time, and it means you'll have more grenades at your disposal. It's also great for having smoke grenades, which is one of the best tactical items in Warzone. Smokes let you pass through open ground, avoid snipers, help safely revive teammates, and more.
All perk 3 optionsGung-Ho - Reduced movement penalties when reloading or using equipment. Reload while Tac Sprinting.Resolute - Taking damage from gunfire provides a boost to movement speed for a short duration. 15% movement speed bonus.Ghost - Undetectable by enemy Radar Pings while moving. Cannot be detected by some devices. Immune to Heartbeat Sensor and Proxy Alarms.Birdseye - UAVs you call in are 25% larger and show the heading of the enemy for your squad. Detects players with Ghost, but ghosted players won't show a heading.Tempered - Refill armor plates to full with two plates instead of three.Alertness - Sense when enemies are nearby. Tell when you are being aimed at by the enemy.
Best perk 3 options
Unfortunately, most of the really powerful options are stacked in the third perk slot. None of them are bad perks, so you'll just need to pick what's most suited to your playstyle or team composition. For example, I usually use Alertness while a teammate uses Birdseye instead, and that gives us combined intel.
Alertness
This is a really powerful perk, and it works much like High Alert from previous years. This feels like a slightly upgraded version, as it warns of anyone aiming at you, whereas the older version only alerted you for enemies that were off screen on either side of you.
Birdseye
Birdseye is great for getting more intel, but this is only worth equipping if you're generating enough cash in your matches to afford buying UAVs and using portable radars.
Ghost
Ghost is still a solid pick if you're not interested in the extra intel from Alertness or Birdseye. It will help you stay off the normal UAVs as long as you're moving.
Resolute
Resolute is great if you are an aggressive player looking for all the fights and making use of the movement system.
All Wildcards
Warzone includes Black Ops 6's Wildcard feature to give you an added bonus for your customized loadout. There are four to choose from in battle royale.
Overkill - Equip two primary or secondary weaponsBandolier - Your loadout provides a Munitions SatchelGunfighter - Equip three extra attachments to your primary weapon (Only works with BO6 guns)Battle Ready - Your loadout provides a UAV and Utility Box
Best Wildcards
Overkill
Overkill is a great choice for a Wildcard now, especially if you are a sniper and want an additional sniper support weapon to rely on.
Gunfighter
Gunfighter is another powerful Wildcard choice, as this card lets you equip three more attachments to your gun. This Wildcard can make an already great weapon feel even more powerful and precise.
Note: Having this equipped will show all of your MW2 and MW3 weapons as locked. So, if you ever find yourself locked out of using an older Warzone weapon, and you know you've already unlocked it, then it's likely that the class you're trying to equip it to has the Gunfighter Wildcard attached.
