Carlito Line Removed From Peacock Episode Of October 21st WWE Raw

Carlito’s controversial quip from the October 21st episode of WWE Raw has been reportedly removed from the Peacock replay. As you may recall, the Judgment Day member sparked a bit of backlash with a line during the backstage episode on that segment where IYO SKY and Kairi Sane walked off and he said, “I need to learn Chinese.” The episode made its way to Peacock and WWE Network after the traditional 30 day delay, and PWInsider reports that the line was edited out of the episode.

According to the report, the line has been muted and the image zooms in on Adam Pearce so that you cannot see Carlito say the phrase.

It was reported the day after the episode that the line was unscripted and that several people in the company weren’t happy about it. SKY and Sane are of course both Japanese, not Chinese and SKY in particular has previously had incidents where audience members shouted at her to “Go back to China.”
