Jelly Roll Hilariously Gave Prince Harry a Tattoo Ahead of Invictus Games
hilariously left a lasting mark on .
In an Instagram video posted on Tuesday, November 19, Harry was seen sitting inside a tattoo parlor waiting for Tennessee singer and rapper Jelly Roll to arrive. Once the musician entered the room, Harry quickly noticed Jelly Roll was wearing nitrile tattoo gloves.
“We’re giving you a tattoo about the Invictus Games,” Jelly Roll said, to which Harry clarified, “Uh, no I came here to ask you to do the Invictus Games. There’s no tattoo in this. I can’t get a tattoo.”
The pair settled on a deal — Jelly Roll would give Harry his first tattoo in exchange for playing at the Invictus Games. After debating a spot for the new ink, the twosome settled on Harry’s neck.

“Wait, have you done this before?” Harry asked Jelly Roll, who replied, “Practically. Pretty much. Trust me, man, you wouldn’t want nobody else doing this but me.”
After giving the Duke of Sussex his first tattoo, Jelly Roll handed Harry a mirror to admire the ink. “What’s that?” Harry exclaimed. “Dude, it’s enormous.” The camera zoomed in on a tattoo that read, “I am Jelly Roll.”
“Is that your name? Does that say ‘Jelly Roll’? You put your name on my neck?” Harry asked while looking at the tattoo, to which Jelly Roll denied any wrongdoing and quickly exited the room.
“How many people can say they tatted a Prince y’all? I am so thrilled to be performing at Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 Closing Ceremonies on February 16, 2025!” Jelly Roll captioned the post. “Tickets are available at invictusgames2025.ca/tickets. Here we go bubba – see you in February!”
