Drama seems to be brewing on I'm A Celebrity 2024, according to viewers who noted rising tensions in the first episode which aired on Sunday night. The second incident, which unfolded on Monday, led some fans to predict an imminent camp feud.

The annual stress of deciding who will take on cooking duties often sparks disagreements, with too many cooks or not enough helpers frequently causing friction. On Sunday night, Tulisa Contostavlos found herself unexpectedly appointed as chef, leading to a flurry of unsolicited advice on how to prepare the vegetables and meat.

Overwhelmed, Tulisa admitted she felt stressed and didn't actually want the role of camp chef. With Jane Moore, Alan Halsall and others all offering their opinions, it wasn't long before disagreements arose.

Monday night's episode featured a mishap with the beans, as Tulisa accidentally spilled them on the floor. In a panic, she and others quickly retrieved and washed them, keen not to waste any food.

Given the likelihood of rationing if they fail trials, and the fact that they're not eating as they would outside the jungle, every morsel is precious. As mealtime approached, Danny Jones and Melvin Odoom were tasked with cooking duties, reports the Mirror.

While Tulisa observed the others, she couldn't help offering advice and confessed in the Bush Telegraph about her urge to take control, yet refrained from doing so.

Spectators at home anticipated a classic jungle clash in no time, considering previous seasons and the current camp dynamics.

One viewer on social media wrote: "Jane will be the first to argue over cooking."

Another observed: "Moans about the cooking already... I can see it kicking off massively if it's like that every night when cooking. Every single year they moan about cooking."

Another chimed in: "Why is it the cooking that always causes the first drama?"

Someone else noted the early brewing of trouble, tweeting: "They've not even been designated camp roles yet and there's already a little bit of tension over the cooking. How are they gonna cope when someone who's s**t at chef-ing takes the reigns."

The conversation comes as spectators voiced concerns that star GK Barry might depart the reality show soon after it began. During her initial challenge shown in the opening episode, her evident distress suggested a brief stay in the jungle.

Viewers, interpreting her responses to the creepy crawlies and trials, were placing bets on her early exit. Amid the speculation, comments emerged including: "GK Barry won't survive 48 hours the rate she's going."

Ahead of entering the jungle, the Loose Women star said: "I haven’t slept in a month. I am scared of the Trials and I am genuinely scared of everything.

"The eating trial to me is the worst thing you can do to a human being. You also don’t know who you are going to click with either but hopefully aer the first week, I will sele in nicely.”
