He had also worked with many dealers and collectors before he opened his own antique shop at The Pantiles Arcade in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

The most recent episode showed Roo and Mark begin a trip around Yorkshire, navigating the highways in a sturdy 1990s Volvo and beginning their journey with a stopover in Grimsby.

It comes as previously on Antiques Road Trip, expert Natasha Raskin Sharp was left stunned after a household item sold for almost 10 times what she paid for it.

Natasha and Phil Serrell embarked on a treasure-seeking journey across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland in an episode of the BBC show.

Phil placed his bets on an antique bowler hat and some vintage dumbbells, but what truly caused a stir was Natasha's lucrative find in the form of an 1873 tea service set.

Upon discovering the exquisite set, Natasha couldn't hide her amazement, exclaiming: "I can't even cope with it, it is so..."

It turned out the tea set was a lotus tea service crafted by Vilmos Zsolnay, dating back to 1873, a masterpiece heralding from the triumphs of the Vienna World Fair.

Natasha couldn't hide her enthusiasm as she declared: "I think instantly I know I have to have it. I think, straight away, I'm in."
