Fans of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! immediately noticed a significant change to the show's format.

When new contestants, including Danny Jones, Coleen Rooney, and Tulisa, stormed into camp ready to tackle the 2024 season, fans were initially left puzzled after spotting a significant change.

This year, the journey to camp was as daunting as ever, comprising a heart-stopping skydive, an intense boat ride, a car trip, or a gruelling hike. Following their tradition, all the celebrities donned their famous jungle outfits upon arrival.

In keeping with tradition, the stars slipped into their blue tees, red pants, and classic beige shirt. But eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot that something was noticeably absent from this year's ensemble.

Normally, each celebrity's shirt is personalised with their name and a distinctive number on the rear, the latter serving as a key feature for viewers when casting votes either to keep the celebs in play or nominate them for the notorious Bushtucker Trials, reports the Mirror.

This time, however, the numbers were nowhere to be seen. Contestants were identified solely by their full names emblazoned across the shirts, prompting mixed reactions from the audience.

One viewer voiced their observation on social media: "Oh they've gotten rid of the numbers on the clothes #ImACeleb." Another chimed in to add: "Hate that they have their full name on the back of their shirts and no number to call it looks stupid #imaceleb."

"So 2024 is the year they've finally got rid of phone voting... who's gonna shout call the SHORT NUMBER now," a third penned, with a fourth writing: " Watching #ImACeleb and I've noticed they've ditched the phone voting (all via the app), like they did for DOI and BGT earlier this year. 'If you're calling from a mobile, call the SHORT NUMBER' is no more, I guess.." (sic)

The jungle is alive with the return of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! bringing a fresh batch of celebrities ready to tackle its daunting challenges. The beloved duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are back to host the thrilling show set in the Australian wilderness.

Contestants are set for a fierce competition involving tough Bushtucker Trials and Kiosk Kev's perplexing puzzles as they vie for the coveted title, which was last claimed by Sam Thompson in 2023.

Eager fans received the much-awaited line-up announcement revealing big names such as Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones and Oti Mabuse making camp.

True to the show's twist-filled nature, viewers can anticipate some shock entrants; Love Island's Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles are amongst those rumoured to be making a dramatic entrance later into the series.
