Decline in building unit transactions

During the third quarter, 1,289 building units and parking spaces were transacted, with a total transaction value of MOP6.53 billion. This represents a decline of 18.1% in transactions and 29.9% in value compared to the previous quarter. The average price per square metre for the usable area of residential units fell by 5.6%, reaching MOP86,579. The purchase and sale of residential units decreased by 129 units, with a total transaction value of MOP5.26 billion.

The average price per square metre for pre-sale residential units rose by 3.6%. Office units saw an 18.6% increase, while industrial units decreased by 29.4%.
