Bryson DeChambeau embarks on bold new challenge during LIV Golf break
Bryson DeChambeau has found an amusing way to challenge himself during the off-season. Having completed his work campaigning for incoming US President Donald Trump, the 31-year-old is now focusing on honing his golf skills for the 2025 season - and he doesn’t have to leave his home to do it.
DeChambeau, who lives in Grapevine, Texas, has installed a nice little set-up that would leave amateur players at risk of regularly smashing house windows.
The LIV Golf star has a putting green installed in his back garden, but also a temporary tee area in his front drive.

The 2024 US Open champion told followers how he’s spending the winter permitting himself several attempts a day at a hole-in-one, which means having to blindly chip over his abode and onto the green.
He performed his fday-our efforts for his 1.1million TikTok followers, and had an assistant at the back of the house yelling out where his balls were landing. “That’s six feet short,” came the cry with his first shot, to which the American replied “unbelievable.”

And he saved his worst until last, despite DeChambeau crying out: “That’s got to have a chance.” Again, he was left disappointed to be told “Nah it’s 10 feet to the left.”
DeChambeau revealed it was his fourth day of trying, and vowed to keep going until he achieves the feat. It comes after a year where he underwhelmed on the LIV tour, only finishing 21st in the individual standings.

Still, he made more than £2.7million in tournament and team winnings. And his 2024 campaign will be defined by Pinehurst in June, where he dramatically denied Rory McIlroy to claim his second major title.
But it remains to be seen if ‘The Scientist’ will be eligible to return to the Ryder Cup next year. LIV rebels are currently awaiting the outcome of merger talks between the Saudi-backed tour and the PGA, with an outcome reportedly near.
