This Morning's Alison and Dermot rally behind Davina McCall after brain tumour diagnosis
This Morning's dynamic duo, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, were visibly moved as they extended their heartfelt wishes to Davina McCall after her sudden rush to hospital for a serious brain surgery.
The much-adored Masked Singer judge, 57, bravely faced a medical procedure to extract a 14mm non-cancerous brain tumour, known medically as a colloid cyst. The discovery came about during a routine health check-up some months prior while she was giving a presentation for a menopause awareness campaign.
On the latest instalment of ITV's beloved talk show on Friday, an empathetic Alison swiftly expressed her solidarity, commenting: "Davina has just put out a statement that she went through a routine scan and discovered that she has got a brain tumour but the good thing is that it is benign."
She further added her thoughtful message: "We just want to say, all our thoughts are with Davina. We are thinking about you and you are so strong. Even in the Instagram post, she is just incredible."
Dermot chimed in with his supportive words too: "The good thing is that it is benign. She said the chance of having it was three in a million. Sending you all our love and prayers Davina and Michael."

I'm posting it because a few months ago I did a menopause talk for a company and they offered me a health scan in return, which I thought I was going to ace, but it turned out I had a benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst, which is very rare."
Davina has revealed she is undergoing an operation to remove a brain tumour, admitting she initially tried to ignore the diagnosis, reports the Mirror. "Three in a million! So I slightly put my head in the sand for a while, and then I saw quite a few neurosurgeons, I got lots of opinions. I realised that I have to get it taken out. It's big for the space it fills the space. It's 14mm wide. And it needs to come out because if it grows it would be bad."

Her partner Michael Douglas reassured fans that the former Big Brother host is in "great shape" but will need some time to recover from the surgery.
In a video caption, he wrote: "Hey everyone. Michael here. @davinamccall will be 'off grid' for a bit while she recovers from this brain operation. She is in great shape and in very good hands.
"I'll do the odd update from her account here for anyone interested. I'm sure she'll read all the comments when she's able to so feel free to send love. The support of people is amazingly powerful. Have a great day everyone. Michael (sic)."
Meanwhile, Magic Radio presenter Nicki Chapman offered her support to Davina, saying the My Mum, Your dad host was in "amazing hands".
