Marcus Rashford exit belief emerges as Man Utd star sent Ruben Amorim warning - EXCLUSIVE
William Gallas believes Marcus Rashford should have left Manchester United to reignite his career in the summer as his struggles for goals continue. And the Frenchman has suggested that Rashford is at serious risk of slipping into the abyss under Ruben Amorim if he fails to rediscover his best form.
The 27-year-old has scored just one Premier League goal this season after only notching seven last term. He netted 17 in the 2022/23 campaign.
His lowly tallies have intensified uncertainty surrounding his future amid the ever-increasing impact of young duo Alejandro Garnacho and Amad.

Meanwhile, Amad has long been a fan favourite but was often snubbed by Erik ten Hag in favour of Rashford, Garnacho or Antony.

He scored both goals in a 2-0 win against PAOK before starring in Sunday's 3-0 triumph over Leicester City, sparking momentum heading into the Amorim era.
And Gallas feels Rashford will likely get left behind by Garnacho and Amad under the Portuguese coach, having overextended his stay at his boyhood club.

"Marcus Rashford is not in his best shape like he was two years ago," Gallas told Express Sport on behalf of Genting Casino's blog.
"It was probably best if he left Man United at the start of the season, but he wanted to prove people wrong by staying.
"Rashford loves Man United, but when you look at his goals and assists statistics, they're not what they used to be.
"Rashford still has 27 [league] games to score and assist more, but Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho are bright sparks who will probably replace him soon."

However, Rashford was strongly criticised for his outing, once again causing outrage by what many deemed poor body language before being hauled off in the 57th minute.
Garnacho, his replacement, took his opportunity off the bench, curling an audacious strike home from outside the box to round off the scoring.
It would be a surprise to see Rashford start in Amorim's first trial of his 3-4-3 system in next Sunday's trip to Ipswich Town, and time might be running out for him to prove he's worth retaining faith in.
