Emerging jewelry designers of CURATED at Luxury Lifestyle
CURATED at Luxury Lifestyle is very new event dedicated to emerging jewelry designers – one of my very favorite jewelry categories! I had the chance to pop up to NYC to see all the jewelry in person and I can’t wait to show you what I saw.

Emerging jewelry designers of CURATED at Luxury LifestyleFirst things first: what is CURATED at Luxury Lifestyle? It’s a very special section of the NY NOW Trade Show, a select showcase of carefully chosen emerging jewelry designers’ brands that includes extra support for its participants.
In the words of its organizers, Liz Kantner and Robin Kramer:
“CURATED at Luxury Lifestyle is tailored to brands that are on the cusp of greatness,” Kantner and Kramer explained in a joint statement. “We seek brands who possess both remarkable talent and a proven track record of business ability. While these brands are considered ‘emerging,’ they are already well on their way to success and remain eager for further professional development. They also embrace the strength of a collaborative community of fellow creatives.”
How great is that? Getting to know the work of and people behind emerging jewelry brands is one of my favorite things in the world. It takes such determination to make a go of things in this business that anyone you meet on the way up tends to be absolutely fascinating, filled with passion and creativity.
Enough talk. I know you’re here for the jewelry! Let’s dive in.
The sixteen emerging jewelry designers of CURATED at Luxury Lifestyle represented a huge range of styles, each with their own distinctive, compelling style.
These fascinating earrings are from Hilary Finck Jewelry. They feature a pair of bewitching iridescent opals in the designer’s signature Captured setting, which features a bezel set gemstone caught in place by a bin across the front.
Oh hello, you beauties! These emerald and diamond rings are all by 12th House Jewelry, who specializes in talismans and amulets and has the tagline “Fine Jewelry Made for Magic Seekers.” Yes, yes, and yes.
I am not expert in whatever symbolism might have inspired these lines, but I definitely appreciate the compelling geometry of these pieces.
Ciara Bowles Jewellery was one of the new-to-me emerging jewelry designers that I was most excited to see. Her Instagram is filled with color and fun and whimsy, which are all things I LOVE to see in jewelry.
The reality did not disappoint. Just look at these earrings! They feature vintage Wedgwood bunny cameos (yes, the same Wedgwood company as this article) set in gold with pretty looping details and colorful gems.
There were a few different brands in Curated at Luxury Lifestyle that specialized in 22K gold, but each designer’s style was so distinctive that it never felt repetitive.
These sleek, chic 22k Fairmined gold and diamond rings are by LFR Studios. Yes, those are enormous diamonds and yes, these that 22K gold is as luxurious on the skin as it looks.
And now for something completely different…these are the Mosaic hoop earrings by Mercurius Jewelry.
Known for their exception in-house lapidary work, Mercurius Jewelry is an emerging jewelry designer I’ve been aware of for a while, but this was the first time I had the pleasure of seeing their work in person.
I was fully blown away: just look at the craftsmanship of these earrings! Those stones are fitted perfectly together, just the stone and the gold, perfectly suspended in place. It’s mind-boggling.
Doesn’t Tamsin Rasor Fine Jewelry have a knack for setting stones in a in interesting way? These rings from her collection all feature dramatic scatters of reverse-set gemstones, which catch the light in really cool ways.
Keep an eye for these babies, I will absolutely be posting a video.
This striking necklace is by Sunlit Fine Jewelry. What a power piece! Doesn’t it look like it’s filled with lightning or captured sun rays?
According the to the designer’s Instagram, that stunning gemstone spike is a golden rutilated quartz from the Pyramid Mine in the Rio Remedios formation in Brazil – and the formation is almost 2 billion years old.
These delightful bird earrings at by Deborah Meyers Experience. I had never met Deb before the Curated at Luxury Lifestyle event, but I adored her immediately and I am happy to say that these earrings are a true reflection of the designer’s own warm and wonderful personality.
These earrings are made from oxidized sterling silver and 18K yellow with rose cut diamonds and Akoya pearls.
One very cool trend that I noticed among the emerging jewelry designers during Curated at Luxury Lifestyle was that there were several brands exclusively focusing on 22K gold. This buttery, luxurious material so alluring, despite its hefty price point, and it was a treat to see how different each designer’s take on it was.
These abstract, swirling 22K yellow gold rings are by i seira jewelry. One has a sparkling champagne diamond, the rest are pure sculptural goodness.
It’s not hard to imagine wanting to wear one of these sleek beauties on your finger every day, is it, my darlings? So lush, so gold. Mmmm.
No, these pendants were not created by a fairy goldsmith who lives in a treehouse (as far as I know). They’re the work of Svetlana Lazar, whose dreamy, whimsical designs and innovative setting styles caught my eye immediately.
Aren’t they lovely? Such a pretty combination of stones and colors.
I gave you a peek at Crevette Designs’ work up at the top – aren’t these rings great? Squiggly wiggly touchable fun.
I love joyful fine jewelry and Crevette Designs absolutely nails this aesthetic. Look at the tiny fringes!!
This buffet of colorful beauties is another example of Tamsin Rasor’s work.
See how all the different stone cuts catch the light in different ways? Add that to the vibrant color and fun shapes here and every one of these tiny beauties is fully irresistible.
This necklace showcases much of Olivve NYC’s sequin collection, an incredibly clever and accessibly priced line of sequin-inspired charms made of gold that has secured a place on my own personal jewelry wishlist.
Aren’t they so cute?? I think the traditional sequin is my favorite but I love seeing all the shapes.
This stack of bangles is by Deborah Meyers Experience, whose delightful bird earrings we admired up above.
Aren’t they wonderful? They’re oxidized sterling silver bangle bracelets with gold, diamonds, emerald, and pearls. And yes, they’re as nice to touch as you would expect.
This rainbow tourmaline necklace and earrings by Stone Everett Fine Jewelry were the very first pieces I touched during CURATED at Luxury Lifestyle.
These designs were so compelling in their thoughtful simplicity. The juxtaposition of the juicy gemstones and the rich gold was truly luscious and I don’t think this picture does it justice.
The Mirage necklace by Macadam! This piece broke my brain a little bit. It was so beautiful and luxurious, with its ziggurat of yellow gold and platinum, that my eyes hardly knew what to do with themslves.
This stunning piece centers a 8.56-carat radiant-cut parti-color sapphire and features accent sapphires and diamonds along the sides of the pendant.
Vazana Studio’s booth was in an aisle of CURATED at Luxury Lifestyle that I didn’t have a chance to walk until I was hurrying out of the show, late to meet my husband for the drive home, but I did manage to stop and snap this photo of their gorgeous gemstone rings here as I scurried past.
Aren’t they pretty? Such a romantic, whimsical feel.
I’ll give you a second to get your breath back.
But really, how stunning is this Dorian Webb pendant? Such a powerful explosion of geometry, captured in 18K yellow gold.
Karin Luvaas was one of the only emerging jewelry designers at CURATED at Luxury Lifestyle whose work I’d seen in person before. Her specialty is working with beautiful hardstones like these and letting their natural beauty shine.
I find these rings mesmerizing. Such incredible colors and patterns, made by the earth.

I’m putting a few last photos in the slideshow above for you, because I just can’t bear to leave these photos out completely.
NY Now itself is an enormous trade show that has many, many more booths that simply the CURATED at Luxury Lifestyle section…but you know me well enough by now to know that I did stray from the section I was there to cover to visit some jewelry designers who were outside on the main show floor.
