Kevin Feige Reveals Marvel's Release Strategy for Shows and Movies After 2025
Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige are changing up the release schedule for the upcoming years. In recent years, Marvel has been known for its high volume content, especially since 2021. Studio head haunch Feige shared with Omelete at Disney's debut D23 Brazil event regarding what the feature of releases for the MCU will look like.
Based on what Feige had to say, fans should not anticipate as many releases as previous years. Slowing down the number of series and film after 2025, Feige said, "I think it's safe to say that we're back to a normal rhythm, more or less. In the past, we had four movies and four series a year, and I think we're going to go down to two movies, three series - but that won't be the case for 2025, specifically. It's just that we've been working on these titles for a long time, and they just happen to be ready to release now. We're very excited."
Confirming plans to reduce the number of projects released from year to year, Feige also hinted about what to expect from the next Avengers films, Doomsday and Secret Wars. Set to be two major crossover films, Feige said, "When you set out to make two Avengers films - they are colossal, gigantic, and consume you completely. We have already announced a Spider-Man film that will be released between Doomsday and Secret Wars." Stay tuned for more information.
