Lorraine Kelly's two-word message to Trisha Goddard over cancer battle
Lorraine Kelly shared some tender sentiments with Trisha Goddard, who is courageously facing a battle with cancer.
The 64-year-old Scottish presenter chose not to focus on the TV personality's health during Wednesday's show (November 6) but instead welcomed her to chat about the latest twists in the US election saga.
Revelations had surfaced that Donald Trump claimed victory over Democratic contender Kamala Harris. Residing in South Connecticut, Trisha was perfectly placed to provide insightful commentary on the unfolding events stateside.
Keen to keep the atmosphere focused on politics rather than personal health, Lorraine, nonetheless, couldn't let Trisha leave without expressing heartfelt encouragement.
She warmly remarked: "Trisha thank you for your words of wisdom and you're looking really well," reports the Mirror.

As the segment wrapped up, Lorraine added with sincerity: "Stay healthy." To this sentiment, Trisha humorously retorted: "I will and I hope Donald Trump stays even healthier," prompting laughter from both women.
Earlier, Trisha had confessed feeling somewhat disappointed as her home state supported Kamala Harris, yet she noted that things could've been grimmer, optimistically wishing Trump well-being, saying to Lorraine: "I really wish Donald Trump the best of health."

The 66-year-old legend voiced her fears regarding potential political shifts, cautioning: "You ain't seen nothing yet if JD Vance gets in."
In a stark revelation back in 2008, Trisha was confronted with a breast cancer diagnosis but subsequently received the all-clear. Yet, a cruel twist of fate emerged this February when doctors discovered incurable secondary cancer within her hip after she experienced a fall.

Trisha talks all things election on Lorraine (Image: ITV)Resilient as ever, the Dancing On Ice celebrity and CNN presenter managed to conceal her grueling battle with cancer while continuing her professional life in America, undergoing secret chemotherapy sessions.
In a heartfelt conversation with Hello! Magazine, the mother-of-two disclosed her rationale for maintaining such privacy, expressing her reluctance to become the "poster girl for cancer." She fiercely wished to avoid the spotlight and well-intentioned comments about her appearance amidst her cancer fight.
