Strictly Come Dancing pro says they're 'so confused' by judge scoring as fans rage
In Week 7 of Strictly Come Dancing, the competition heated up with the first-ever Icons Week - but fans were not happy over the scoring.
As the remaining celebrities and their partners took to the floor to showcase dances inspired by music legends, two couples found themselves tied for first place. Tasha and Aljaž paid tribute to P!nk with a Couples' Choice routine to ‘What About Us,’ earning an impressive score of 39.
Meanwhile, Lauren Oakley filled in for JB Gill's professional partner, Amy Dowden, who had fallen ill the previous weekend.
The duo delivered an energetic Couples' Choice routine set to a medley of Bruno Mars hits, and scored 39 out of 40. After their performance, JB dedicated the dance to Amy, who cheered them on from the audience.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the leaderboard were Sam Quek and Nikita Kumzin, who honoured Taylor Swift with a beautiful American Smooth to her hit ‘Love Story.’ The judges praised Sam for her strong comeback following a minor setback last week, awarding them a score of 29 out of 40.

The reality star transformed into Freddie Mercury for a Salsa performance to ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ alongside his dance partner.
However, fans were less than impressed by the scores the judges gave some dancers including pro dancer James Jordan, who appeared on the show from 2006 to 2013. He took to X to write: “Now I’m totally confused!!!”

A second person chimed in: “Ridiculous scoring!!”
A third person said: “This is the new normal from the judges!!”
However, one fan reassured people that the judge's scores won’t affect who is going home this week. They wrote: “Don't worry. The dancers get through on a public vote, not from judges scores.”
Another person added: "Don’t worry. We have been for the last 7 weeks. This is nothing. Strap in for the next few weeks."
