Strictly's Chris McCausland 'to miss out on Glitterball Trophy' as disadvantage laid bare
Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland, who has been wowing the judges with his dance partner Dianne Buswell, may not clinch the Glitterball Trophy, according to recent data.
Despite being a favourite among bookmakers, the comedian could lose out to EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick.
The BonusCodeBets.co.uk Supercomputer, which accurately predicted 33/1 outsider Hamza Yassin as the 2022 winner, analysed the traits of all 21 previous champions and found that the typical winner is a 31-year-old male actor.
Jamie, hailing from East London, fits this profile almost perfectly in terms of gender, occupation, and age.
Actors have proven to be the most successful profession on the show, boasting seven wins out of 21. Previous winners include Ellie Leach and Kelvin Fletcher, both actors who danced their way to victory, reports Wales Online.

Initially, ex-Love Islander Tasha Ghouri was the bookie's top pick, but she has since been overtaken by Chris McCausland.
If either Chris or Tasha were to win, it would mark a first for their respective professions, which have historically not fared well in the competition.

They added: "Our Supercomputer predicted him as the one to watch before the first step was even danced, and now he's proving to be the real deal. Looks like the only thing more accurate than Jamie's footwork is our algorithm!"

Last Sunday night, Punam Krisnan bowed out of the competition after finding herself in the bottom two alongside Shayne Ward. Despite a valiant effort in their second performance, the judges were unanimous in their decision to save Shayne.
Speculation is rife over who will be the next to depart from Strictly's glittering stage this weekend.
Strictly Come Dancing returns tonight at 6.30pm on BBC One.
