ITV viewers all say same thing about Deal Or No Deal as they 'switch off'
Deal Or No Deal returned with Stephen Mulhern at the helm for Friday's episode but some viewers were not too happy.
The popular ITV daytime show has returned taking the place of fan favourite Tipping Point.
While some viewers complained about the scheduling shake-up, others confessed they would prefer a quiz show that tests their general knowledge with some switching off.
"@ITV What is the point in putting #dealornodeal on in between Tipping Point and The Chase?" one raged.
Another fumed: "We want to answer general knowledge questions, not watch a bunch of boxes sitting around the place!"

However, some viewers complained that the show isn't interactive enough as there are no brainteasers for them to answer. One argued: "This program stares pure greed in the face....#DealOrNoDeal."

"Show should be renamed to 'How many adverts can you squeeze into an hour show' #DealOrNoDeal," the viewer groaned.

"How much padding and nonsense can they get away with? They’re putting it to the test," someone else chimed in.
Other viewers hit back at critics, with one saying: "I thoroughly enjoy it."
Another gushed: "I love this show."
Deal Or No Deal returned after being axed by Channel 4, where it was presented by Noel Edmonds for 11 years.
It took a break between 2016 and 2023 before switching to ITV, where Stephen has hosted for almost a year.
hIS pilots were well-received, prompting the channel to put its confidence into the show, while two celebrity specials have recently livened up events too.
Former pro footballer Michael Owen appeared last year, while Coronation Street actor Simon Gregson - who plays Steve McDonald - was screened on the show in January.
The celeb specials have raised money for charities including Fight for Sight, which funds research into preventing and treating eye diseases and blindness, and Proud and Loud Arts.
