Ahead of the Starz series making its anticipated return next month with season 7 part 2s imminent release in mere weeks, fan opinions have been fervently exchanged online.

The beloved fantasy romance saga, adapted from Diana Gabaldon's widely-popular book series of the same name, has recently finished shooting its eighth and conclusive season, stirring a wave of sentimentality among its ardent followers.

Having devoted more than ten years to the Outlander universe, fans are reflecting on standout moments and portrayals, reports the Daily Record.

Taking to Reddit to voice their preferences, user @AnonUsername557799 disclosed their top character picks, penning: "By far... the best characters are Hugh Munro the beggar and Geillis Duncan. No spoilers please I'm still only finishing season 3. I just felt the need to give a little praise and a controversial hot take." (sic)

Debate ensued in the thread, with various fans sharing their personal picks. One sarcastically responded: "What? You mean the best characters overall in the show? [laughing emoji] Well that's a hot take." (sic)

Some outrightly contested this view, shooting back with terse "Nope" and "No way" retorts.
