BBC Escape to the Country couple make emotional admission about 'perfect' home
An Escape To The Country couple faced a significant decision this afternoon.
The duo chose to relocate from north west London to the tranquil Buckinghamshire, seeking a quieter life away from the capital's hustle and bustle. With a close-knit family, they were on the hunt for a place where they could entertain guests and indulge in their love for cooking and gardening.
Xiaoli expressed her desire to engage more in cycling and yoga, as well as contribute to the local community, while Sharad was eager to utilise his DIY skills, prompting Xiaoli to joke about lending him a hand.
With a budget of £750,000, they were searching for a detached character property with four bedrooms, a large kitchen, a separate dining room, and a spacious garden.
Their first stop was a character cottage in Bierton, Buckinghamshire, listed at £650,000. It boasted a bespoke kitchen diner, three reception rooms, and three bedrooms, reports Wales Online.

While the price impressed them, they weren't entirely sold on the house. The next property was a detached period-style house in Kingston Blount, Oxfordshire, priced at a hefty £775,000.
Featuring three receptions, a contemporary kitchen diner, and four bedrooms, the house didn't quite meet their expectations, leading them to explore further options.

In a later conversation, the couple discussed their intentions to make an offer, albeit with one condition. They explained, "The house was perfect. Our next step is going to contact the estate agent and hopefully come and visit the place again and bring my father and brother up to have a look at it as well. It's a very big decision for us."
