Steve Bruce issues emotional statement after tragic death of his four-month old grandson
Steve Bruce has opened up on the 'worst time of his family's lives' after the tragic death of his grandson. On October 18, Blackpool announced that Bruce would not be in the dugout for the clash with Barnsley that day, following the tragic news that his four-month-old Madison had died.
And Bruce has now released a short statement.
"On Tuesday we laid my grandson Madison to rest," he said. "It's been the worst time of my family's entire lives and is something no family should have to endure.
