ITV Big Brother shock as one 'gutted' star made to exit with immediate effect
Martha's stint on Big Brother came to a shocking and abrupt end in the latest episode after she was abruptly sent packing from the ITV show in an unexpected exit through the back door.
In a bombshell conclusion to Tuesday's show, fans were gobsmacked when it transpired that they had the power to oust one contestant from the notorious house straight away, with the ousted housemate's identity to be unveiled in tonight's programme (October 30). In a devious Halloween week twist, Emma, crowned head of the house by vote, was burdened with nominating four housemates for eviction.
Emma agonised over her decision, nominating Khaled, Martha, Thomas, and Ali, unaware of the secret viewer ballot occurring unbeknownst to her.
As the reality show's Halloween tricks unfolded with Emma at the helm selecting unsuspecting victims for messy gunkings, little did Khaled, Martha, Thomas, and Ali anticipate that they were headed for a fate far grimmer than goo: immediate ejection from the house.
Ultimately, Martha was the unlucky victim of the public vote, hastily escorted out of the house. Stunned by her sudden eviction, she managed to express her gratitude, remarking: "Thanks for an amazing opportunity. You've got an amazing bunch in here," reports the Mirror.

Over at X, one audience member expressed: "I always get more sad when a Big Brother fan like Martha gets a back door eviction over someone who has never watched it, like Khaled. True fans deserve their moment on stage because we know that's all everybody wants."
Another viewer commented online: "Nah they don't rate Martha. Not even ending the episode with her eviction loooool."
And a third chimed in saying: "Whether you like Martha or not we lost a housemate that wanted to be there over someone who complains how boring it is and doesn't do anything of any interest whatsoever."
Discontent was palpable amongst the show's followers upon learning thered be a back-door eviction for the first time this season, with reactions ranging from displeasure to anger. One viewer remarked: "Backdoor evictions are unfair to the housemate and the viewers."

Another was clearly irate, venting: "Shame @bbuk are yet again failing us and doing a pre-recorded backdoor eviction. It's just garbage. They have a presenter, an audience, a studio, all right there! EVICT THEM LIVE FFS!"
The feeling was mirrored by another fan, who stated: "God, would probably most hate a backdoor eviction. Shame. Don't waste your vote on Thomas when we won't see him all week anyhow."
To the disappointment of many, Martha did not have the opportunity to give her final impressions in the legendary Diary Room. Nonetheless, she managed to share her eviction insights with host AJ Odudu on the spin-off programme, Late and Live.
Big Brother airs Sundays-Fridays at 9pm on ITV2.
