BBC Strictly leaves fans distracted by Anton and Craig's appearance 'Absolutely horrific'

Strictly Come Dancing fans admitted they were mortified as Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood took to the dancefloor in matching outfits. The show judges opted to dress up as the cult classic twins, otherwise known as The Grady Girls, in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining.

The Strictly pair both donned matching blue dresses featuring a large pink bow as they put their legs on full display. Anton, 58, and Craig, 59, held each others hands, sporting frilling ankle socks with dolly shoes.

They accessorised their haunting attire with a black wig and covered their faces in white powder.

Viewers were left in shock by their matching outfits as some fans branded the iconic look "horrific".

@Cogs39 tweeted: "Yup, I’m gonna have nightmares tonight. Absolutely horrific sight, and completely out of time with their swivels #strictly #scd."
