Trick Williams On Who He Talks To For Advice In WWE NXT

Trick Williams has revealed who he most commonly talks to for advice in WWE NXT. The NXT Champion appeared on the Happy Hour podcast and was asked who he goes to when he wants advice, naming NXT creative head Shawn Michaels as his main source of guidance.

“Honestly, I’m going straight to Shawn at this point,” Williams said (per Fightful). “For where I want to be and where I see myself in my career, there are only a few people who are going to push me and give me the real like I really need to hear. That’s Shawn Michaels, Terry Taylor, Booker T, even CM Punk.”

He continued, “CM Punk has been around a lot and he’s been very helpful for us. I would say those four guys.”

Williams will defend his Championship against Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground match at NXT Halloween Havoc on Sunday.
