Mariah May Wants to Face Mercedes Mone in 2025

– During a recent edition of The Figure 4 Podcast, AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May discussed her goals for next year. She also noted that she’s yet to face TBS Champion Mercedes Mone, and that’s something she’s looking at for next year. She said on her expectations for 2025 (via Fightful):

“I’m still going to be the Women’s World Champion. I’m all about moments and looking for that next big rival and creating a star just to kill a star. That’s really my focus for next year. I haven’t had to challenge for the TBS Championship. I haven’t stepped in the ring with Mercedes, or she’s never stepped to me. That’s something I’m looking at.”

Mariah May was in action on last Saturday’s AEW Battle of the Belts XII, losing a Title Eliminator Match against Anna Jay. Anna Jay has now earned a title shot against May on the November 2 edition of AEW Collision in Philadelphia.
