The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh grapples with a health condition that might be news to his avid followers.

Bradley, 64, previously disclosed he suffers from blepharitis, which leaves him with red and swollen eyes.

Often his fans are left puzzled seeing Bradley's puffy facial appearance without realizing the root cause.

In his discussion on the programme This Morning, Bradley explained: "People don't realise I have seriously bad blepharitis."

He added emphatically, "I have to take one pill a day for it or I really struggle. I am going to need my eyes operated on at some point to sort it out.", reports MyLondon.

Bradley went on to say, "So many times, people have commented on how I look. But they don't realise. If I take medication though, I'm fine."

Walsh had previously touched upon this on This Morning back in 2017 while chatting with Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

He outlined to the viewers that blepharitis leads to swollen, red, and itch-prone eyelids, including flaky or crusty lashes.

In severe scenarios, individuals may find their eyelids totally stuck together upon waking.

While not posing a life-threatening situation, the issue can escalate to dry eye syndrome, cyst formation, and even conjunctivitis.

Standard treatments involve regular eyelid cleansing routines. The NHS offers guidance, suggesting eye pads, wipes, and drops for cleaning purposes, and advises consulting a GP for acute cases.

In other health-related news, Walsh has also undergone a transformation, shedding 10lbs following a different health scare.
