EastEnders: Stacey tells Lily she is pregnant

EastEnders star Lacey Turner's sister once made an appearance on the popular BBC One soap.

Lacey, who rose to prominence playing Stacey Slater since her debut in 2004, has become one of the most beloved characters on the show.

Over the years, she has tackled significant storylines as Stacey, from dealing with bipolar disorder to murder, ensuring that her time in Walford is never without drama. Interestingly, it seems acting talent runs in the family, as Lacey's younger sister also ventured into the world of soaps.

In 2010, when Lacey temporarily left EastEnders, her sister Lily Harvey joined the cast. At the tender age of nine, Lily, using her mother's surname for her acting career, portrayed Shenice Quinn, the daughter of Kat Slater's friend Martine.

Surprisingly, even the executive producer Bryan Kirkwood was unaware of Lily's relation to Lacey, admitting: "Whether by accident or design I sat down and watched a [video] tape of a very talented young girl."

"And it was only after we decided that I was told it was Lacey's sister. So it was a complete accident.", reports the Daily Star.

Lily remained a guest star on EastEnders until August 2011, and although she was offered a full-time role, she stepped away in 2012. Lacey's other sister, Daisy Turner, also dipped her toes into the soap world.

At the age of 20 in 2011, Daisy joined the rival Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, where she played the stunning blonde, Jenny Houston.

Daisy revealed that starting her soap career was challenging, especially with her older sister Lacey already being well-established in the industry. In an interview with the Liverpool Echo, she shared: "All three of us do it." Daisy mentioned that she and Lacey began acting as children, with their mother Bev encouraging them to explore various talents, including singing, dancing, and acting.

When Daisy landed the role in Hollyoaks, Lacey offered her support, saying she'd be there for her if needed. Daisy recalled: "I was at home with my mum and sisters when I got the call to say I'd got the part. Lacey said if I need her, she is there."

She acknowledged feeling some pressure due to Lacey's success and experience, stating: "I suppose there is a bit of pressure because she is very good at what she does. She has done it for years and I am just starting out."
