Porsche Unveils All-New 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring

Porsche has unveiled two new GT3 models in celebration of the iconic vehicle's 25th anniversary — namely a track-focused GT3 and a more subtle GT3 Touring. Both versions pack a naturally aspirated 4L six-cylinder engine delivering over 500 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque.

The 911 GT3 is built with a focus on lightweight design and track-ready performance. New aerodynamics, including a redesigned front diffuser and rear wing, increase downforce, while its double-wishbone front axle, derived from the GT3 RS, improves stability at high speeds. Both models come with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear sports tires, with track-ready options available for enthusiasts.

For the first time, Porsche introduces a Weissach package for the GT3, allowing for even more customization with components like carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) body parts and magnesium wheels. This package aims to enhance the car's performance on the track.

In contrast, the GT3 Touring model offers a more subtle presence, replacing the fixed rear wing with a retractable spoiler and featuring a leather interior, emphasizing luxury while retaining the high-performance DNA of the GT3. This package also offers an optional rear seat, making it an even more versatile choice for everyday driving. Both models are equipped with advanced technology, including Porsche’s Track Screen display mode, which simplifies key driving information for track use, and lightweight bucket seats designed for racing comfort.

The new 911 GT3 offers an enhanced driving experience, with shortened gear ratios and improved suspension that provide greater control and responsiveness. According to Porsche brand ambassador Walter Röhrl, the new models offer superior steering and increased driving pleasure. In addition to the new models, a new limited edition Porsche Design watch is also set to be released.

At the time of writing, specifics on pricing and availability have not yet been announced, however, orders are expected to open by the end of 2024.
