Jai Vidal Reportedly Granted TNA Release

Jai Vidal has exited TNA as he was recently granted a release. Fightful Select reports that Vidal recently asked for and was granted his release.

Vidal signed a multi-year contract in late 2022. He last wrestled for the company in an Ultimate X qualifying match in August and had only worked for matches for the company this year. Sources in TNA indicated that Vidal was frustrated regarding the creative process and also had told people in TNA that he felt like his stressing the importance of representation in the company as TNA’s first openly gay wrestler wasn’t reciprocated.

Vidal has worked for Coastal Championship Wrestling, GCW, Future Stars of Wrestling and more in 2024.
