Tipping Point player takes early exit as he admits 'I've run out of luck'
On ITV's Tipping Point, a contestant made the bold choice to bow out early, opting for caution over the £10k jackpot.
Ben Shephard returned to host Tuesday's episode of the hit quiz show, where fresh faces Joe, Richard, and Sheril vied for a cash prize. The trio kicked off with promising performances, but Joe quickly surged ahead, leaving his competitors in the dust.
Joe's remarkable lead saw him breeze into the final, yet he chose not to push his luck. Despite a tempting offer from Ben to play for a £10,000 jackpot, Joe held firm on his pre-show resolve, stating: "I said to myself before I came on, I'll take the trade if it was just hanging on, and I thought 'one or two pushes would do it.'" Surveying the precarious counter positions, he observed: "A few of those have gone all to the right."
Joe elaborated to Ben that the risk didn't seem worth it for the £10k, which could cost him his entire winnings.
With wedding plans on the horizon, Joe opted to secure the £3550 he had already won, saying: "I think my lucks run out really. I don't think I'd get it. I'm going to leave it. I don't want to take the trade."
