This Morning's regulars have been left scratching their heads, pondering over Josie Gibson's noticeable absence from the show. Fans have clocked her missing presence since her last appearance on the couch in August.

On Tuesday's episode, a segment showcased what's on offer at The National Motorhome and Caravan Show this week. Yet, with another female presenter reporting live, viewers were quick to point out that it's typically Josie who covers the annual event.

Queries and comments flooded in, with one viewer asking: "Where is Josie???"

Another remarked: "Every bloody year #thismorning goes to this motorhome show. Usually, they send Josie. Starting to think she's being phased out."

A further tweet read: "Anyone else noticed that #thismorning is increasingly using Sam Thompson for things that they'd previously had given Josie. Weirdly feels like they're slowly edging her out."

Despite the speculation about her reduced screen time, Josie's absence is reportedly due to other commitments.

In September, she disclosed to fans that she would be taking a break from This Morning as she embarks on a solo project for Channel 5, delving into the realm of luxury travel, reports the Mirror.

Speaking to the Express, Josie assured that she has a lot on her plate and remains an integral part of the This Morning team.

"I'm very grateful for This Morning and everything they've helped me with because they grew me as a presenter.

"I should be around at Christmas on the [This Morning] sofa, so then I will get back on the road and try to make it all work as much as I can."

Josie Gibson shared her gratitude towards This Morning for nurturing her presenting skills. She also hinted at her festive appearance on the show's couch, before planning to hit the road again to juggle her commitments.

The bubbly presenter couldn't hide her enthusiasm about her new three-part series, revealing her delight that Channel 5 had approached her for the gig.

The air date for her programme, The First Class Travel Show, remains under wraps.

With another break on the horizon, speculation is rife about who will helm the popular ITV morning show next.

During the summer, the show featured a carousel of guest presenters, including fan favourites like Alison Hammond, Rylan Clark, Sian Welby, and Rochelle Humes.
