Escape to the Country's Margherita Taylor after BBC show exit including Honorary Doctorate
Margherita Taylor, the former host of Escape to the Country and presenter on Countryfile, has been a staple on our television screens for over two decades.
Her career took off when she participated in a radio contest that gave her the break she needed at Birmingham-based radio station BRMB. Her impressive performance led to a move to Capital London.
In 1999, Taylor made her TV debut as one of the main presenters of Channel 4's beloved show T4, alongside Dermot O'Leary and Vernon Kay. Since then, she hasn't looked back, hosting numerous BBC daytime shows and earning an MBE for services to broadcasting and diversity.
She started presenting Escape to the Country in 2016 and continued until her departure in 2022. But what is the presenter doing now and where can you see her?
