BBC Strictly fan fury as they all say same thing about Nick Knowles 'stitch up'

Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts have expressed confusion and dismay over the dance style assigned to Nick Knowles upon his return.

The well-loved dance show dazzled audiences yet again on Saturday with presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman steering the ship. DIY SOS icon Nick, alongside his dance partner Luba Mushtuk, made a comeback after being sidelined due to a knee injury sustained by Nick.

Despite his absence in the competition last week and his commitment to make a recovery in time, viewers were left baffled as Nick was tasked with performing the Charleston upon his grand return a dance notorious for its exuberance and challenging footwork.

Fans worried that the Charleston was more than Nick could handle following his injury, voiced their concerns on social media platforms. One fan exclaimed: "Only #Strictly can give out a #Charleston to Nick with a bad knee. Ridiculous."

Another shared their mixed feelings: "Glad to see Nick made it back but because of the injury the reworked choreography made for a lacklustre Charleston. What he could dance he did well," reports the Mirror.

Meanwhile, a third commented: "Of all the dances to give Nick Knowles after coming back from a knee injury... a Charleston."

Lastly, one viewer both praised and empathised with Nick's predicament: "You can really tell Nick is still on the painkillers, he's still injured clearly and not wanting to really go for it. Good effort, just needed him to totally go for it which I'm not sure he was able to."

Nick candidly opened up about his feelings ahead of the judges' scores, admitting: "To be honest this time last week, I thought I was out. So I'm just over the moon."

Despite Craig Revel-Horwood only giving Nick a four, resulting in an overall score of 21, certain onlookers deemed it too generous.

A disgruntled fan weighed in on social media, remarking: "Pity points for Nick and Luba? No way was that Charleston only one point away from Sarah and Vito."

Another added: "Markings all over the place again. Shayne, Nick and Jamie very much over marked and Sarah under marked."
