Stone Island's Exhibit at Holt Renfrew Honors Legacy of Innovation

Stone Island will be hosting an archival exhibition at Montreal's luxury retailer Holt Renfrew to celebrate four decades of the Italian fashion label's exploration of unique materials.

From October 17-27 “Material Research ‘984 – ‘024” will showcase five pieces dating back as early as 1984 alongside Fall 2024 pieces, to illustrate the brand's heritage-rooted inspirations. Stone Island' innovative approach to fabric technology is a a hallmark of its ethos and has helped to cement its wide-reaching following in menswear. According to WWD, the exhibit will highlight some of Stone Island's futuristic fabrics including metallic, thermo-sensitive and reflective materials. Visitors will get the chance to immerse themselves in the world of Stone Island, while also getting to shop the latest pieces carried at Holt Renfrew.

Stone Island has set up a pop-up record shop courtesy of La Rama Records that will be open for the duration of the exhibit, along with a program of DJ sets from local talent on the nights of the October 18, 19, 25 and 26.
