GB News' Stephen Dixon is madly in love with his husband - but he didn't intend to convey his feelings to his producer.
The blushing TV host looked sheepish as he confessed his mistake, while co-star Ellie could scarcely speak as she tried but failed to stop her bursts of laughter. Revealing that his beloved had been away and had sent him a good morning text, he dropped the bombshell that he'd replied - but to the wrong number.
"[I wrote] 'Good morning angel, love you, hope you had a nice sleep' and I sent it to my producer!" he exclaimed. Ellie took up the story, chuckling to viewers: "Our producer replied and was like, 'Is this for me? I did sleep well thank you.' Ah, it was brilliant!"
It wasn't the only time that a smitten Stephen mentioned his husband during the show, as the conversation turned to love later in life. He revealed that should the worst happen, he would never remarry - or even date.
He'd been reading out texts from viewers highlighting that it's possible to find love at any stage of life. One had revealed that she'd just got engaged at 70 years old, while another had Ellie swooning with the declaration that he fell in love with his wife all over again on a daily basis.

Stephen agreed, telling the nation: "That's what I'd be like.
"If anything happened [to my husband], I'd never ever be with anyone else ever again."
His face turned red as he blushed with emotion over his husband of two years.

The pair tied the knot in the Lake District, but Stephen shared just a single photo from the ceremony, featuring the pair with their backs to the camera.
The usually privacy-loving star confessed to his Instagram followers: "This is the only wedding picture you're gonna get I'm afraid, but it's the most important part, being blessed as our marriage begins."
He got married on the same day that his late brother-in-law died, so he posts poignant tributes to both events when that time of year comes around.
Stephen will return to viewers' screens tomorrow morning.
