ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh stuns viewers as he accuses contestant of 'cheating'
Bradley Walsh accused a player of ‘cheating’ on the latest episode of The Chase.
As viewers tuned in to meet four new players take on the UK’s biggest brainiacs on the ITV gameshow, they were immediately drawn to 32-year-old Billy, a senior Marketing Officer from Doncaster.
He was seen sporting a very thick, dark moustache on his face which had many viewers distracted from the get-go.
But it was clearly something host Bradley couldn’t avoid either. After Billy impressed by scoring £5k in his cash builder round and managing to stay a step ahead of chaser Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis, Bradley told him he was a good player and said: “The producers want me to have a word with you. They think you’re cheating and you have the answers written under your tache.”
Awkward laughter erupted from the studio before Billy jokingly replied: “Yep, they’re right there. I’ve been foiled.”

Billy's moustache caused quite a stir (Image: ITV)Fans online had a lot to say about the man’s facial hair. One said: “I think the team should get four head starts due to Billy's moustache.”
“That fella was nearly as impressive as his moustache to be fair,” penned another, while a third added: “If Tom Hanks had a 70s pornstar moustache, Billy.”

Fans were recently treated to a historic episode as two contestants Karen and Ian secured a seriously impressive victory.
Host Bradley was "thrilled" after watching two players safely make it to the final with the highest-ever jackpot. Ian – a magician from Middlesex – who put a respectable £6,000 in the prize fund. Later on, he was joined by Karen – a maths and science tutor from Macclesfield – who showed she had nerves of steel and picked the higher offer of £94,000.
Her decision meant she had to take a step further away from home, meaning she had to answer one more question without getting caught compared to if she just used her cashbuilder round money like Ian.
Her risk paid off, and she took their total up to a sizeable £100,000.
The rules of the show dictate that the two competitors split the jackpot evenly, so both walked away with £50,000. This was the most amount of money ever won by a team of two in the series’ history.
