Dick Strawbridge reveals the same thing he and wife Angel 'argue about regularly'
Dick Strawbridge has admitted there is one thing that he and wife Angel always argue about one thing - and it's to do with the size of their castle.
The popular TV couple found fame through the show Escape to the Chateau, which saw the pair purchase a French castle before renovating it.
But the size of their home is something that is a bone of contention in the Strawbridge household.
The Sunday Telegraph asked him how many rooms there were in the castle, to which he replied: "We argue about this regularly, 50? It depends on your definition of a room."
Dick, 65, and his 46-year-old wife life in Château de la Motte-Husson in Martigné-sur-Mayenne, France with their two children.
He also let slip what attracted them to the castle.

"The one thing it didn't have was a conservatory, so in 2022, we built one."

Dick added: "Our chateau isn't big - a silly thing to say when you look at the average home. When you see how it works, it's not a small house by any stretch, but all the rooms are in the right places.
"You go upstairs into the entrance hall; there's a dining hall on one side, a small kitchen, cloakroom, children's playroom, all in brilliant places.
"The boot room downstairs (is my favourite room) being a country boy. Everybody brings things into the house through it and takes off wet coats and wellies.
"It's got fishing rods and gun racks. It's the most used room in the house. I've also got two workshops, three kitchens, all special places for me."
