All 25 James Bond films are on Amazon Prime Video now

Daniel Craig asked whether there could be a 'gay James Bond'

Prime Video has shaken things up as James Bond fans continue to patiently wait for the announcement of who will be the next 007 star.

All 25 official Bond films available to stream worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. The official James Bond Twitter account shared the announcement, giving Prime members access to every classic mission of Ian Fleming’s legendary British spy.

The timing of this release is no coincidence, as it comes just ahead of James Bond Day on October 5, marking the anniversary of the first Bond film, Dr. No, which hit cinemas on that date in 1962.

The partnership between Prime Video and Bond fits well, given Amazon’s acquisition of MGM, the long-time distributor of the franchise, though Eon Productions still retains creative control over the series.

Prime also streams 007: Road to a Million, a game show hosted by Brian Cox, but there’s still no word on when fans can expect Bond’s next outing after No Time to Die saw the character meet his end in 2021. Eon Productions has kept tight-lipped about casting and hasn’t confirmed meeting with any actors for the iconic role.

As for the films now streaming on Prime, they include the first Bond Sean Connery’s classic outings like From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever, and, of course, Dr. No.

George Lazenby’s single appearance in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is also available.

The extensive Roger Moore era is represented with Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, and A View to a Kill.

Timothy Dalton’s two films, The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill, are included as well. Pierce Brosnan’s run, featuring GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day, is there too, alongside Craig’s Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time to Die.

However, the collection does not include two outliers from the franchise’s history—1967’s Casino Royale, a comedic spoof, and 1983’s Never Say Never Again, which brought Connery back to the role in a non-Eon production.

Meanwhile, fans are tipping Jason Isaacs to be cast as the franchise’s next villain as the rumour mill regarding Daniel Craig’s replacement continues to rumble. The 007 role has remained vacant following the star’s exit following 2021’s No Time To Die.

After Daniel, 56, announced he would be passing on the James Bond mantle in November 2019, fans have speculated who could be next to take on the iconic role. Names such as Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 34, and Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page, 36, have been thrown into the mix as well as Rebel Ridge’s Aaron Pierre, 30.

It’s currently not known when the next James Bond movie is set to release, with co-producer Barbara Broccoli telling The Guardian in 2023: “I think these movies reflect the time they are in, and there’s a big, big road ahead reinventing it for the next chapter and we haven’t even begun with that.”
