Eamonn Holmes rages at GB News co-star 'stop' as Phillip Schofield row gets heated
GB News hosts Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster were caught up in a fiery clash as they discussed the backlash surrounding Phillip Schofield’s return to TV.
After Isabel suggested there would be “a chance” of his daytime television comeback, guest Paula London hit back: “I don’t think so at all, I think he should be so grateful he’s got away with what he did and not been punished more severely.
“He’s clearly so fame-hungry, he’s in his mid-60s I think he should go spend his money with his daughter, have a great life and that’s it.”
To which, Isabel stated: “He wasn’t convicted of any crime, his relationship was ill-advised but not illegal.”
As Paula argued: “If it was a male and female, it would’ve been different,” Eamonn interrupted to ask his co-host: “Why’s that even relevant?”

To which the guest claimed: “I don’t think Channel 5 should be giving him a show, why should they? He’s being rewarded for doing something terrible … in most people’s eyes.”
Phillip made his TV comeback on Saturday for the desert island show, Cast Away where he was dropped onto a deserted Madagascan island for 10 days.
During his appearance, he maintained that his affair with a younger male colleague was “unwise but not illegal,” adding that he “made life tough for the people I love the most”.
As news of the affair hit headlines, the former ITV star was forced to step down from his presenting gigs including his departure from This Morning in May 2023.
