Bruno Fernandes reveals James Maddison view seconds after red card in Man Utd loss
Bruno Fernandes has revealed what James Maddison told him as he walked off the pitch after receiving his marching orders in Man Utd's chastening defeat to Tottenham.
The Red Devils endured a horror afternoon at Old Trafford, with Brennan Johnson putting Spurs ahead inside just three minutes as the visitors dominated the early proceedings.
Then things went from bad to worse as Fernandes was shown a straight red for lunging at James Maddison's knee, although he clearly slipped just moments before the tackle. The Utd captain was left in dismay at the red card, and he has now shared what the Tottenham playmaker told him.
